Steve Stone, President, is an experienced executive focusing on Defined Contribution plans and fiduciary issues including strategic planning, plan design, administration, and ongoing ERISA compliance.
Steve specializes in helping clients design, administer, and communicate Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOP) and supports client sponsors with retirement plan accounting, compliance, and plan audits. Steve has over 34 years of experience working with organizations of all sizes in the management of these programs. His experience ranges from conducting ESOP reviews and plan design studies to supporting repurchase liability projections, ongoing accounting and audit support, administration and compliance and assisting clients with conversions and plan terminations.
Steve earned his BS in Accounting from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville and passed the CPA exam in 1990. Steve has served on several national practice councils as part of his time in the industry and has been a frequent speaker throughout his career. He is a member of the National Center for Employee Ownership.
